The Talay is capable of flying approximately three meters above sea level, making it nearly invisible to most coastal radar systems. With a payload capacity of up to 30 kg, the unmanned vehicle can be used for reconnaissance, transport, attack missions, or even as a kamikaze drone. According to the manufacturer, the Talay reaches speeds of up to 200 km/h and has a flight endurance of up to three hours, covering distances of up to 200 km.

The system is equipped with artificial intelligence, allowing for greater autonomy and operational efficiency. Solid Aero announced that maritime testing of the Talay will begin soon, with mass production scheduled for 2026. The first deliveries are expected as early as January 2027.
Developed to fulfill a wide range of defense missions — from offensive operations to deterrence — the Talay stands out for its ability to fly close to the surface of the water, making it difficult to detect using conventional surveillance systems.
